This is our kitchen. When we bought the house we had the cabinets painted white and added new hardware. It's a pretty good side kitchen.

This is what I had on TV all day long before the Hurricane hit. It really just made me a nervous wreck but I couldn't stop watching. They say we do everything big in Texas, I guess that includes our storms!

This is the dining room. We never eat at this table. Ever! It mostly collects junk when we walk though the door.

When Hurricane Ike was coming through Houston I had to go through the house and take pics of everything just in case we had severe damage. Luckily our damage was small! Everyone reading this except for my mom has seen where we live so I thought I'd give you a short grand tour of our house. This is the family room.

This is one of Austin's favorite places in the house. The stairs! He loves to climb then and would spend all day going up, but not necessarily down the stairs. Thanks goodness for baby gates.

Big Boy

This is us at Chilli's restaurant. Austin was such a big boy he refused to sit in a high chair and insisted on sitting, well more like standing next to his daddy.

Austin's first birthday!

This is Austin's first birthday. He turned 1 in August. It's been a fun year watching him learn and grow. We thought he'd go to town on the cake but was actually pretty uninterested in it. A sister in the ward made him this darling football cake.
